Year 8 Laurus student starts a business in the NFT space

Meet Yuto Ogata, our talented Year 8 student who’s making waves in the art world. He’s the brain behind Bear Art Tokyo, a creative studio where you can craft your own bear figures and transform them into NFTs.

NFTs, or Non-fungible tokens, are digital tokens that represent ownership of unique items, like art, collectibles and even real estate. They are secured on blockchain.

Yuto is also using his platform to make a difference. A substantial portion of the studio’s earnings is dedicated to combating hunger in underprivileged nations.

We are delighted to see one of our own students embark on this entrepreneurial journey. Yuto’s innovative spirit and his dedication to the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has inspired us and his peers. Keep shining, Yuto! Hear what Yuto has to say in this clip posted on Facebook.
