The Only International Science
School in Japan
A strong foundation in STEM education is essential to unlocking a child's full potential in the 21st century. We invite you to explore our proprietary STEM curriculum which offers students a continuous learning pathway from Preschool to Secondary.
The foundations of science-based inquiry & experimentation acquired in the Early Years progress into programming, engineering, technology & entrepreneurship and more, in Primary & Secondary.
The Laurus Difference
-
Through the lens of science, our aim is to provide a balanced education that develops the whole child while equipping them with a competitive advantage in STEM fields.
Our curriculum and learning approaches are designed for building critical thinking, emotional resilience, social aptitude and physical well-being at every stage of development, preparing students for life.
-
Besides classroom teaching which covers broad & necessary topics, students are provided opportunities and resources to explore their passions, whether scientific, artistic or other. Guided by students’ natural curiosity, specific activities and mentorship programs are on offer, individually tailored to coach students on projects related to their interests.
-
Students of every age can experience science as a part of their education as we offer Afterschool, Saturday School and Seasonal Programs to non-Laurus children. At our Shiba campus, state-of-the-art labs and workshops with modern equipment and resources empower students to explore many different fields, develop new skills and assimilate knowledge.
-
In modern high-growth economies, a great deal of the technological innovation is driven by small companies founded by entrepreneurs with big dreams and visions. Exposing students to this mindset early in their education helps to demystify and instill self-confidence.
At Laurus International we embrace this philosophy by integrating innovation and entrepreneurship into our curriculum. Students are encouraged to explore business, social, and technical opportunities. These initiatives not only serve as a playground for creativity but also as a platform for cultivating essential skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving.
